Notes for Students and Parents
The table above clearly explains that it is not all University that claims to offer medicine and surgery actually obtain the accreditation to do so. Again, it is worthy of not that only 2925 or less can get admission to study medicine or dentistry each year in Nigeria. This stats create an unnecessary competition considering the limited admission slots and the huge crown that applies to study this course each year through JAMB – UTME.
Our Advice to both parents and students is that before choosing any university for studying of medicine and surgery or any other courses, ensure that the institution is fully or partially accredited to offer that course.
