Microsoft Office users can now get micfrosoft 365 for free but it can only be free if you prove to microsoft that you are a Teacher/Lecturer in a teaching institution or a student in an institution. These can out sometime ago on Microsoft webpage to annouce it free microsoft 365 usage to the public.

Office 365 for Education is a collection of services that allow you to collaborate and share your schoolwork. It’s available for free to teachers who are currently working at an academic institution and to students who are currently attending an academic institution. The service includes Office Online (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and OneNote), unlimited OneDrive storage, Yammer, and SharePoint sites.

Students and teachers are eligible for Office 365 for Education, which includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, and now Microsoft Teams, plus additional classroom tools.

What are the eligibility requirements?
You must be a full-time or part-time faculty or staff member or student at an academic institution and:
- Have a school-specific email address provided by the school (for example, contoso.edu) that can receive external email.
- Be of legal age to sign up for an online offer individually.
- Have Internet access.
