We are a foremost multi-solution consulting firm located in Lagos, Nigeria. We are looking to fill the position of Oracle HCM
Consultant.
Job Summary: As the Oracle HCM Consultant, you will play a crucial role in implementing and optimizing Oracle's suite of HCM
applications to meet the human resources needs of our clients. Your focus will be to leverage Oracle technology to streamline HR
processes for our clients in order to optimize their employee experience. Primary Modules involved are Core HR,
Employee/Manager Self Service, Absence Management, Time & Labour, Performance Management, I-Recruitment, Learning &
Development Management, Payroll and Benefits Interfaces, Workflows, and Approvals Matrix Management.
Responsibilities:
Act in the capacity of a generalist HR service and work with the client’s leadership to understand the business
environment to determine, develop and execute innovative solutions to address business priorities.
Planning, leading and actively participating in design, configuration and testing of the HCM modules/functionality of
Oracle’s E-Business Suite.
Assist business users in mapping and streamlining/re-engineering business practices to implement various Oracle
modules, using Oracle Unified Methodology (OUM) implementation methodology including reports specification
development and deployment.
Assisting clients in mapping and streamlining/re-engineering business practices to implement various Oracle modules,
which include integrating the Oracle Applications with existing client systems, using standardized implementation
methodology including reports specification development and deployment
Understand and define controls in the system from a solution (HCM) perspective as well as implement segregation of
duties among users/departments within the Client’s system.
Develop and design Tailor-Made Materials for and delivery of End -User Training
Identifying and documenting business requirements and configurations using Oracle Unified Methodology (OUM).
Prioritizing competing demands, scoping large efforts and negotiating timelines with Clients
Oracle Support to research, manage and resolve issues through Service Requests (SRs)
Skills, Knowledge & Experience Required:
A good University Degree in any related Discipline while higher education (M.Sc., MBA, ) will be an added advantage
A minimum of four (4) years’ experience working with Oracle HCM supporting the modules listed in the Job summary
above in both the private and public sector with at least three (3) full implementation cycles.
Certification(s) in Project Management will be an added advantage
Working knowledge of SQL queries and databases will be an added advantage.
Deep experience in Approval Management Engine (AME) configurations and design
Good hands-on knowledge of HCM table structures, writing payroll and SSHR fast formulas, logic/rules etc. is essential.
Experience in standard implementation activities, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration,
testing, implementation, project documentation, and post-production support.
Knowledge of general HR and payroll best practices will be added advantage.
Knowledge of and ability to prepare Oracle implementation project deliverables using Oracle Unified Methodology
(OUM).
Knowledge of the underlying Oracle tables, integration points and technology processes are critical to success in this
role.
Knowledge of Oracle Cloud in HCM will be an added advantage
